Maven Coffee was born in 2018, in Wilmington, N.C., as a result of the love and passion for specialty coffee. Its founders, Nico and Diana, two first-generation migrants from Colombia with deep roots in the heart of the specialty Colombian coffee industry, who wanted to give a unique window to the heritage and traditions of thousands of coffee-growing families, whose livelihood relies on the coffee trade. Since its conception, Maven Coffee has been an active member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), sharing and promoting sustainability, fostering inclusivity, ensuring quality, and supporting the global coffee community to all who come in contact with the Maven Coffee Experience. As a family-owned and operated company, we are humbled to partner directly and indirectly with many producers and industry leaders in Colombia by offering competition-grade coffees online and at our stores in N.C.
